This started off as one man's inane, self indulgent, less than informative and potentially extremely boring drivel about his yacht and other random sailing misadventures...
However, as time went on i realised that there was so many other potentially boring and inane activities i was undertaking and why should i limit this to just sailing...

First item from the "To Do List" done
Nothing major, finally got a horse shoe life ring, stuck some letters on it, found a suitable mount and below is the said item on Maggie
A bit dissapointed to see that you would let a small thing like a trailer stop you from getting to te lakes . It is a good two day sail if you pick a good window , or you can always pick up a s/h trailer and convert it to your needs ( you have the required parts on the old one ) . I say one in good condition over the w/e for under a grand .
Bob (I think ??), at the moment we don't have time to get down the Lakes anyway - let alone having the time to wait for a weather window. I would rather get the trailer sorted and drive it down - small boat, big sea, I know it could be done - but it ain't for me or my crew. Maybe one day, who knows. Also the advantage of being young - still got plenty of years left to do it!!
Next time you see my trailer have a good look at it - there isn't really any part of that is salvageable, it's pretty much rust riddled.
Anyway thanks for dropping by and hopefully we'll catch up on the water or on the hard soon - are you doing a trip to Refuge Cove over Easter?.
Hi Tim , re Refuge Cove over easter , I was not aware there was an organised sail taking place . From where and when ? A few of the boys from Hastings are heading down to Deal Island but because of my crew ( wife ) working Sunday will have to settle for an overnighter to San Remo or possibly Churchill Island .
